Supporting the Danish Police

The Danish Armed Forces and the Home Guard are contributing to the safety of the Danish citizens through a number of tasks supporting the Danish Police. Upon request the Danish Police can be supported with e.g. military equipment, military forces and personnel. The Danish Armed Forces and the Home Guard supports e.g. border crossings and anti-terrorism operations.

Strategic reserve

The Danish Armed Forces are setting up a strategic reserve of soldiers who at very short notice will be able to support the police during unforseen major contingencies.
